NOTICE OF IMPOSITION OF CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON GILLES DAIGLE’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Gilles Daigle, residential real estate broker, licence number J2175, whose establishment is located St-Agapit has had conditions and restrictions imposed on his licence following a decision by the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), pursuant to section 37 (3) of the Real Estate Brokerage Act.

On September 20, 2023, the Licence Issue and Maintenance Committee imposed the following conditions and restrictions on Gilles Daigle:

 
  1. Within 30 days of issuance of his licence, the applicant must complete the training course “Professional conduct, the cornerstone of your daily practice,” provided by the OACIQ Training Department.
  2. Within 6 months of issuance of his licence, the applicant must complete the training course “Conflicts of interest and double representation: Broker's duty to act with complete transparency,” provided by the OACIQ Training Department.
  3. Within 30 days of his licence issuance, the applicant shall send the OACIQ Registry Service proof of his registration for the training mentioned in paragraph (b).
  4. For 36 months following his licence issuance, he will be prohibited from carrying on activities on his own account.
  5. Within 30 days of his licence issuance, the applicant shall send the Organization’s Registry Service a signed undertaking from his agency executive officer by which the latter undertakes to supervise the applicant, according to the supervision plan in place, for his first 15 transactions or, if not, for the 36 months following his licence issuance.
  6. In the event of any agency change during the period mentioned in paragraph (e), the applicant shall send the Organization’s Registry Service a new undertaking under the same conditions with the new agency within 30 days of the agency change.
  7. The applicant shall send the follow-up report drawn up in accordance with paragraph (e) to the Organization’s Registry Service within 6 months of his licence issuance and every six months thereafter, until the 15 transactions or 36 months have been completed.
  8. The period referred to in paragraphs (d) and (e) shall end only upon the completion of this period with an active real estate broker's licence.
  9. The period referred to in paragraphs (d) and (e) shall be suspended in the event the applicant suspends or revokes his real estate broker's licence.

Should the applicant fail to comply with the above conditions and restrictions, his real estate broker's licence shall be suspended until he does so.

This notice became enforceable on November 1st  , 2023.

This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting broker’s and agency licences.
