MR. VIGNESWARAN MURUGIAH’S LICENCE

NOTICE is hereby given that Vigneswaran Murugiah, former real estate broker (Licence No. D6776), whose establishment was located in Kirkland, has been found guilty by the Discipline Committee of the Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) of the offence summarized below:
1st count: On or about June 2,nd 2010, concerning a property, acted in a complaisant manner by :
a) Receiving an amount by check issued from the sellers of the said property, and distributing the money following the instructions of a person who was not the holder of a broker’s licencse issued by the OACIQ.
committing, an offence to section 69 of the Regulation respecting brokerage requirements, professional conduct of brokers and advertising.
On August 5, 2014, the Discipline Committee ordered the suspension of Vigneswaran Murugiah’s real estate broker’s licence (Licence No. D6776) for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days.
Given that Vigneswaran Murugiah is no longer a licence holder, his licence will be suspended for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days whenever he becomes a licence holder again.
This notice is given in accordance with section 33 of the Regulation respecting the issue of broker’s and agency licences (R.R.Q., c. C-73.2, r.3).
