Be advised that on October 1, 2021, the OACIQ Discipline Committee ordered that the residential and commercial real estate broker licence of Mr. Lorne Deschamps, whose establishment was located in Lachute, be suspended for a period of 90 days whenever he becomes a licence holder again for committing the following offence:

Counts 2a) and b):  Concerning a building located in Lachute, defendant allowed or tolerated his daughter, Jessica Deschamps, to sign in lieu of seller J.C. the following documents on two occasions:

a) on or around July 31, 2015, Amendments (AM) 00397 form;

b) on or around December 30, 2015, Amendments (AM) 92841 form;
 
Count 3: As of January 21, 2020, in Brossard, as part of an investigation conducted by the assistant syndic concerning a building located in Lachute, falsely stated that he did not know, at the time of the sale of his building to J.C., that a violent death had occurred there.
